Hillside is superbly situated for Summer days on the beach punctuated by quick trips home. It is less than 80 yards from the sand. The lovely sunny garden at the back of the house is a good alternative when the beach is too much and has sun loungers, outside dining furniture, sand pit and paddling pool.

The house is light and bright, but retains many original features.

Hillside is the original 'House by the Beach' and we lived in it ourselves for several years very happily with our young family (now we are just up the road). It is in the heart of the older village. We enjoyed the friendliness of our neighbours and the pleasures of eating fish and chips on the quay in the evening sun while the children rolled about in the sand or paddled (unbreakable wine glasses and wine cooler are in the larder together with portable salt & vinegar, in case you're wondering). The beach was our back yard and Hillside was perfect for returning sandy feet with its slate hallway and comfortable 1880 bathtub and hot water from good old Aga.
Back patio and garden are also good for outdoor dining, there is a BBQ by the back door and the table & chairs on lawn seat 6.
