Location

Trevarrick is on the edge of the historic Caerhayes castle estate and surrounding landscape has been conserved for wildlife. The lanes and fields around this area are characterised by ancient trees and fine Cornish hedges. There are also other lovely country walks from the front door.

The Castle at Caerhayes has a wonderful collection of Rhododendrons and Camelias collected in the 18th century. The gardens are open to the public during Spring and Summer are a short drive or quiet walk along country lanes.

Heligan Gardens are a 5 minute drive. Heligan also has fine plantings, walks and good café (with home cooked meals). Also at Heligan is Lobb's farm shop - a good source of local meat, vegetables and cheeses.

The beaches at Gorran Haven, Hemmick and Vault are a 10 minute drive or a very scenic walk along lanes and coast.
